From globo.com, April 13, 2021: “Four Bolsonaro decrees that facilitate access to firearms go into effect / Thirteen items not in force because they were suspended by justice Rosa Weber of the Federal Supreme Court. … Justice Rosa Weber’s decision suspends the implementation of the majority of the changes decreed by Bolsonaro. The following are suspended: the ability of a person to buy up to six firearms, eight if they are a security officer; simultaneous carry of up to two firearms per citizen; allowing sport target practice by youth starting at age 14; authorization to practice recreational shooting without need for prior registration; purchase of ammunition by shooting academies, without limit; validity of firearm carry throughout the country; and the end of the Army’s control over ammunition and accessories. … In her decision, the justice cited studies that show that ease of access to weapons increases the number of violent crimes and the diversion of legally purchased weapons and ammunition to criminal groups.” (https://g1.globo.com/jornal-nacional/noticia/2021/04/13/quatro-decretos-de-bolsonaro-que-facilitam-acesso-a-armas-de-fogo-entram-em-vigor.ghtml)
