One of the strongest voices of post-modernism in Brazil, 74-year old Conceição Evaristo wrote in her 2017 poetry collection “Poemas da Recordação e Outros Movimentos” (“Poems of Recollection and Other Movements”): “Na voz de minha filha se fará ouvir a ressonância. O eco da vida-liberdade.”
