The gaúcho brothers Kleiton Alves Ramil (born August 23, 1951; Happy Birthday, Kleiton!) and Kledir Alves Ramil (born January 21, 1953) released their first album in 1980 (called “Kleiton & Kledir,” which was the name of 4 of their next 5 albums as well - the fifth one was “Kleiton & Kledir en Español”). “Paixão” (“Passion”) is from the 1981 “Kleiton & Kledir.”
“Passion”
I love your voice and your color
And your way of making love
Rolling your eyes and the rug
Sighing in falsetto
Things I don’t even know how to say
Being happy is all we want!
Oh! This damned clasp
Suddenly we tear our clothes
And a really crazy fever
Makes our bodies shudder
After the third or fourth cup
I’m game for whatever comes
Whatever happens is welcome
When I drink I lose judgement
I’m not responsible
Not for myself, not for others
I don’t want to be in your life
Like an unresolved passion
Those ones we’re jealous of
And we drench ourselves in perfume
As if to drown ourselves
I’m going to spend the whole day
Memorizing your geography
And this adventure
In flesh and blood
Leaves marks on our neck
It makes us levitate
You have a certain air of paradise
And a body that’s more right
Than the most beautiful of mortals
You have an infinite beauty
And the most beautiful mouth
That mine has ever touched
