“Senta aqui” (Fábio Jr., 1979)

The title of this song—“Senta aqui”—really just means “sit here” but since it’s three syllables in Portuguese, I decided to translate it as “sit right here” so that it’s three syllables in English too. Serendipitously, I think “sit right here” is nicer in English than “sit here” and better reflects the tone of the song (and the Portuguese).
Fábio Jr. is almost as famous for his personal life (7 wives!) as for his extensive acting (he’s probably most known for Bye Bye Brazil and Roque Santeiro, but he was in a ton of novelas) and music (over 2 dozen albums, almost half of which were eponymous) careers.
