“Enlightened illiteracy”

The above quote will, like the one in the earlier post, be made clear soon. Both do have to do with the recent twitter spat between Senator Romário and Minister Ribeiro, the beginning of which was translated in yesterday’s post. Needless to say, Ribeiro did not take long to reply to Romário’s attack, also on Twitter, saying:
Sr. Senador @RomarioOnze, é muito deselegante quando um representante do parlamento se dirije desta maneira a um Ministro de Estado, ainda mais com base em uma frase tirada do contexto. [1/2]
Mr. Senator @RomarioOnze, it is very rude when a congressional representative directs themselves in this manner to a Minister of the State, even more so based on a sentence taken out of context. [1/2]
Quero acreditar que o Sr. não tenha assistido à entrevista e 'caiu na onda' de quem distorceu o sentido de minha frase. Para poupar seu tempo e energia, trago esclarecimentos dos seus próprios e seguidores. Fique com Deus!
I’d like to believe that you haven’t watched the interview and ‘caught the wave’ of those who distorted the meaning of my sentence. To save your time and energy, I attach clarifications from your own followers. Be with God!
(The word dirije in the minister’s first post was misspelled. It should be dirige (“directs”) - and has since been corrected on the minister’s twitter page. One does not have to be an Education Minister to know that this is a fairly basic spelling error.)
The minister then attached the following:
“It seems like it has become fashionable for people to not have the patience to listen to and understand what people are saying!! they take sentences out of context all the time!!”
“Romário listen and watch the interview that the minister did, the sentence placed in your post is out of context! as a matter of fact, he defends children with disabilities and professors trained to work with them!!”
“What is inclusivism? A child with a disability is placed in a classroom of students without disabilities. They didn’t learn, they ‘got in the way’ = in quotes, I use this word very carefully - they got in the way of the others’ learning, because the teacher didn’t have a team, didn’t have special knowledge to give them special attention,” stated the minister.
Romário’s reply the next day:
“Mr. minister @mribeiroMEC, rudeness, imbecility, and idiocy is what you have been doing with the education in our country. Have some shame.”
