The Brazuca Sounds podcast has released the 3rd part of its “trip to Brazil in 100 songs,” this time starting in the far North (Pará, Amazonas, Acre, Rondônia, Roraima, Amapá), traveling down the west side of Brazil (Mato Grosso, Mato Grosso do Sul, Goiás), and ending in the the far South (Paraná and Rio Grande do Sul, home to the podcast’s host Leandro Vignoli and the part of Brazil where I first learned Portuguese). As with Part 1 and Part 2 of this musical trip around Brazil, I’m pleased with how many of these songs and artists have already appeared here on the Anvil (lots of links below, although fewer than I feel like there should be) and as with the other parts, there’s plenty of fodder for future posts. Enjoy!
